Stockholm Furniture Fair

The Ringbaltic team recently attended the Stockholm Furniture Fair and had a great experience. Attendees were impressed by the quality of the exhibits and the creativity of the designers showcased at the fair. All of us appreciated the opportunity to connect with other professionals in the furniture industry and to learn about the latest trends and innovations.

There was particular admiration for the sustainable and eco-friendly design concepts that were featured at the fair. Many believe that sustainability is becoming increasingly important in the furniture industry, and attendees were pleased to see so many companies embracing this trend.

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the Stockholm Furniture Fair, and left feeling inspired and energized by the experience. We look forward to attend again in the future and continue to push the boundaries of innovative and sustainable furniture design.

Ring Baltic announces new ownership and rebranding

Ring Baltic is announcing an ownership change in a management buy-out from the Flokk Group of Norway, and a name change to Ring Baltic. Ring Baltic is regaining its independent status, for a better positioning in the market and improved current and future business relations. Ring Baltic is also consolidating its customer service, R&D and manufacturing under a single roof and moving headquarters to Ogre, Latvia.
The new owners of Ring Baltic are current long-term management team of Ring Chairtech — the same team who established the company in Ogre 20 years ago and has managed it for two decades. All current business contacts and relations remain active, and the company will continue serving current customers with a renewed commitment.

Sigita Udre and Aigars Melnis, Ring Baltic’s new owners said: “This is a unique honor to continue the 80 years of business and quality traditions of Ring Mekanikk and Ring Chairtech under the name of Ring Baltic. We will strive to make this a new chapter in our history, to continue serving our customers and reach our 100-year milestone as an independent business. Our regained independence will streamline our positioning in the market and enable further growth.”

Ring Baltic (previously known as Ring Mekanikk, Norway and Ring Chairtech, Latvia) is a well-known chair mechanism producer in the Nordic and European markets. The company started designing and manufacturing high quality chair mechanisms in Norway back in 1942 under the name Ring Mekanikk, by now accumulating 80 years of experience. In 2002, a daughter company was set up in Ogre, Latvia, as a manufacturing subsidiary.
